How to Fix a Frozen Zune!
My wife used the Zune on New Years Eve and Z2K struck! The Zune loading screen froze on her and she freaked. She thought she broke it! All was fine when she say on Yahoo that everyones Zune was broken! Well this is a quick fix i found on youtube, so i am posting one as well!
In this video I open up my flash zune (8GB), and show you the inside while pointing out all the different parts and telling you what they do. Youll need a Tri-gram screwdriver to do this yourself- 35mm. should do fine.

Zune sucks big time. It took them over 2 years and they only manage to create 13 apps for the zune? Pathetic. And why are the apps for the phone 7 not compatible with the zune? Explorer loses to Firefox. Xbox loses to Nintendo in sales. Zune loses to ipod. Windows os loses to linux, Leopard. Phone 7 loses to blackberry, iphone, etc. Bing loses to Google. There tablet loses to ipad. We wont miss you when you are gone Microsoft.

Just got a replacement 1000mAh Li-POL replacement battery, used the tips on disassembly here to gain access.. Thankfully, never experienced Z2K, always had the updates running since getting this. the original computer I had it connected, is fried, it’s been through 4 laptops and 2 desktops.. Always running the updates. Surprising, the 30GB is more indestructible than the newer versions.

my problem is that the buttons wont work, the screen turns on when I connect it the pc but still diesnt do anything,I’ve reset it and still didn’t work, when the screens turns on the lock on the bottom right appears but the lock button is off , does somebody know how to fix this??? need help!!!

HI. Tried this but my battery still wont hold a charge. Turns on but says “batt low” even when charged for 24 hrs. Could it be that ebay sent me a bad battery or is there something else wrong with my zune that wont allow batt to charge? Thanks for any helpful answers!

ive had my 80gb zune for about a year or two now..and it stopped working and everytime i tried reinstalling the firmware and getting it updated, it would just cause eorror messages.. so i left it alone, and just yesterday i got the zuneHD..
and i thought about my old zune and thought id try one more time.. and sure enough it works.. im happy, but thats alot of money D:

I need to replace the connector, my daughter inserted the connector upside down. It the part available? this seems like a common problem since the connector is not clearly marked and kids try to force it in.
My 8gb zune mini just shut down when I disconnected it from the computer without unplugging it. I feel like it just needs to be reset from the inside. Do you know how I’d do this?
Hey i have a zune 80 gb and i had it for about 1 year and i was just using it and it turned off i turned back on but a dim light turns on but nothing comes up on the screen i can still use it but i can’t see anything on my screen idk what the the prob is but please tell me what i can do thanks
i accidentally wash my zune and when i knew how to open it , i did blow dry the part inside and make sure not overheat it then i wait until it cool down and charge it. MIRACLE its surely WORKS!!

I threw mine at a brick wall, and it bounced off and whacked me in the head.
so you can put it back to gether and it will be practically normal(not fall apart/ look normal/work normal)
